What happend

After Hurricane Fiona hit Puerto Rico, leaving 90% of the island without power and 55% of homes without water, the ERT joined a volunteer based disaster relief organization in the field.

The response

The ERT created digital solutions for volunteer registration and management, as well as aid request collection and community needs assessment templates.

The outcome

monday.com's platform allowed the NGO volunteers to quickly collect and process data on the needs on the ground, and activate relevant support in real time.

Floods

In February 2025, Kentucky experienced severe flooding caused by a major storm system. The North Fork Kentucky River reached record levels, leading to widespread destruction. More than 39,000 families were affected, 1,000 residents were rescued, and 14 lives were lost. Recovery efforts were further complicated by a winter storm, which brought snow and freezing temperatures.
