Venezuela Earthquake

On June 24, Venezuela was hit by twin M7.2/M7.5 earthquakes that devastated La Guaira, Caracas, Carabobo, and Yaracuy - collapsing 80% of buildings in La Guaira alone and displacing hundreds of thousands. With Cruz Roja Venezolana scaling up fast and hundreds of volunteers showing up daily, we moved in.
The ERT set out to digitize the Red Cross's entire Emergency Operations Center on monday.com - building volunteer management, medical tracking, and distribution systems to run the operation end to end. The team also stood up a dedicated WASH AI agent that scans real-time disaster data and answers prioritization questions over WhatsApp.
Leadership now has real-time visibility to make data-driven decisions in the field instead of relying on paper. So far: 4,000+ families reached, 4,800 medical attendances recorded, and 1,200 volunteers mobilized across all sectors - and still counting.
